The manuscript contains a collection of hadiths and aphorisms, arranged in a traditional layout of one line of thulth and two or more of naskh, written in a horizontal format. The calligraphy is of the highest quality, a fact noticed by previous owner of the manuscript who wrote in Turkish, ‘Hafiz ‘Uthman, at the height of his career’ on folio 1a.
