Bactrian document; recto: 27 lines; verso: blank. A perfectly-preserved rectangular document; the fourth line and the latter part of the third line are inset.
One sealing is attached at the bottom left of the document by a short thong threaded through the document, which is reinforced at this point with a rectangular leather patch.
The document relates to Mir son of Bek (Mir ibn Bek) and his brother Bab, both of whom are mentioned in a number of the Arabic documents from Khurasan in the Khalili Collection.
