Small Box in the Form of a Mango

Location: Northern India

Materials: gold, cast, engraved, enamelled and set with rubies and diamonds in gold kundan

Dimensions: height 6.5cm

Other Notes:

One side of the small box is set with a pavé of foiled cabochon rubies and the other with a pavé of foiled flat-cut diamonds, all in gold kundan in an ogival lattice. The stem and the calyx of the fruit and the interior are all enamelled, over engraved decoration.
