Pouring Vessel in the Form of a Bird

Other Notes:

The vessel is in the form of a stylised long-necked bird, with a plump body and stubby tail. Its plumage is delicately engraved. Two small lugs on the neck may have been for a detachable half cylinder to complete it. The neck and breast bear benedictory naskh inscriptions.
