Other Notes: The Maqam Ibrahim (‘Station of Abraham’ – that is, the stone Abraham stood on when building the Ka‘bah) used to be kept in a metal housing with a pyramidal roof. The cover, which was made to go over the housing, consisted of four shaped wall sections, while a small fifth section accommodated the top of the roof. For the Maqam Ibrahim see TXT 243.
In this template, the blue represents areas which were to be embroidered in silver wire, the yellow in gilded silver wire. For covers made in this pattern, see TXT 243 , TXT 312, TXT 291 and TXT 531.
