Professor Sir David Khalili Meets With Ban Ki-moon for Inaugural Human Rights Lecture at Oxford University’s Kellogg College

On Thursday, 2 May at Kellogg College, Oxford University, Ban Ki-moon, who as UN Secretary General (2007–2016) played a major role in securing the Paris Climate Agreement and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals, was elected as a Kellogg Fellow. Ban Ki-moon visited Kellogg to deliver the Inaugural Human Rights Lecture: Human Rights in a Fractured World. Professor Sir David Khalili and Ban Ki-moon met previously when they were both panellists at the commemoration of the International Day of Peace at the UNESCO headquarters in New York in September 2021. In Oxford, Ban Ki-moon was delighted to receive a copy of The Art of Peace.
